Volunteer Work Areas:
+ Luncheon Committee for the 2nd Annual Peacemakers Luncheon on September 21, 2010. Volunteers are needed now to help in the following areas:
Marketing and Promotion: sell ad space, solicit sponsors and guests, design and layout program, and more
Silent Auction: Collect items; store items; transport items; design layout and display; write copy, photograph; set-up, organize, monitor, and operate onsite.
Table Decorations: create and store

+ Data Entry and Word Processing--provide assistance in database maintenance, record keeping, communications, etc.
+ Events--provide assistance in planning, hosting, and coordinating events and meetings; staff a table at an event; etc.
+ Fundraising--help plan fundraising events and activities, obtain sponsorships, grant writing, etc.
+ Newsletter--provide assistance in writing articles for newsletters
+ Performance--volunteer your talent as speaker, artist, performer, or presenter for events.
+ Phone Bank--make phone calls to volunteers, members, donors, and others for reminders, invitations, information, etc.
+ Publicity--provide media research and connections, write, design, etc.
+ Research--provide internet research on peace related areas including local, national and international organizations; governments; educational and religious institutions, etc.
+ Volunteer coordination--provide leadership in coordinating volunteers in various work areas including the areas listed here
+ Website--provide assistance in website maintenance and online networking with other organizations
